How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Provide app features
- Improve Anglez
- Respond to support requests
- Detect fraud
- Maintain security
- Comply with legal obligations
Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Anglez, such as cloud hosting, analytics, and customer support services. Those providers may only use it to perform work on our behalf.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or of Anglez.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention and deletion
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile is removed and your personal information is deleted or de-identified, except where we are required to retain it — for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse.
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days, and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period after that before they cycle out. Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
You can delete your account from inside the app, or request deletion without installing the app, at any time. See Delete Account for both routes.
Children’s privacy
Anglez is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has given us their information, email privacy@anglezapp.com and we will delete it.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
